Corporate Matching Gifts
Corporate Matching Gifts

Donating Stock
Stock Gifts
Did you know that when you donate appreciated stock, you may avoid the tax on the gain while deducting 100% of the value of the contribution? That makes stock gifting one of the most tax-advantaged ways to give. And when you donate stock, we get to keep the proceeds that would have gone to pay taxes – it’s a win-win for you and us! And now it’s fast, safe, and free to donate stock to National Peace Corps Association.
We have partnered with DonateStock.com to enable our supporters to make stock donations in 10 minutes or less. By clicking on the DonateStock button below, you can initiate a stock gift from your brokerage through a secure portal in minutes at no cost to you.
Once the stock is received in the NPCA account, it will be liquidated. You will receive a letter from NPCA acknowledging your donation and the value of the donation as it arrived in NPCA’s account.
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the official workplace giving campaign of the Federal government. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. Choose NPCA as the charity you’d like to benefit (CFC 11708) and set up your automatic payroll deductions.
NPCA has achieved The America’s Best Charities Seal of Excellence for meeting the CFC’s highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
Donor-Advised Funds and IRA Distributions
Donor-Advised Funds
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable account where you contribute money, get an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend which charities should receive the funds. It’s like a charitable savings account for giving back. Contribute to NPCA from your DAF for free
IRA Distributions
If you’re 70½ or older, you can transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to NPCA tax-free. This Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) counts towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and can reduce your taxable income. Contact your IRA custodian to get started!
Legacy of Peace (Bequests and Planned Giving)
Legacy of Peace Bequests
Join NPCA’s Legacy of Peace Society by naming NPCA as a beneficiary in your will, life insurance policy, or IRA. This is an opportunity for you to support the values and actions of the Peace Corps well beyond your lifetime. In addition, there can be significant tax advantages to making a gift to NPCA from your estate. Your gift will be used wherever it is needed most by NPCA, unless otherwise specified by the donor.
We recognize that writing a will and designating beneficiaries are very personal matters. If you choose to make a bequest to NPCA, we encourage you to let us know so that we may have the opportunity to express our appreciation. For more information or to express your interest in Legacy of Peace, please contact Dan Baker, President & CEO, at [email protected].
You may choose to bequeath to NPCA a specific amount or all of your estate. The following suggestions are guidelines and should be written or adapted by your legal counsel to fit your individual situation:
- Sample Bequest of Specific Amount
“I give, devise, and bequeath $_____ to the National Peace Corps Association, TAX I.D. #58-1431113. NPCA may be contacted at: 20 F. St NW, 7th Fl., Washington, DC 20001; phone: 202-293-7728”
- Sample Bequest of Remainder of Estate
