International Volunteer Opportunities

As part of our commitment to continued global social impact, NPCA is proud to partner with a variety of organizations to offer international volunteer opportunities for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, former Peace Corps staff, and others who are interested. Please note: these are not Peace Corps Volunteer or Peace Corps Response postings.

Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F)

NPCA is proud to partner with ACDI/VOCA to recruit qualified candidates for Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) assignments in Armenia, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan.
F2F assignments are designed to provide opportunities for U.S. technical experts to conduct short-term consultancies that focus on building the capacity of organizations and individuals globally. This work includes agricultural extension training, livelihood development, cooperative development, value chain development, and horticulture.

Assignments generally last between two to four weeks. While the volunteer consultants donate their time and expertise, all travel and living expenses are covered, including round-trip airfare, lodging, meals, local transportation, and incidentals. While each assignment varies, some may require a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the relevant technical field and/or proficiency in a specific language. ACDI/VOCA recognizes the unique experience returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) and former Peace Corps staff bring to these short-term assignments, having long-standing relationships and working experience in their countries of Peace Corps service and professional careers.

If you are interested in serving on a short-term assignment or would like to apply for one of the assignments listed below, send a brief cover letter and resume to [email protected].
