About Santa Barbara Peace Corps Association
The Santa Barbara Peace Corps Association (SBPCA) is a network of returned Peace Corps Volunteers living in the Santa Barbara, California area whose purpose is to promote:
– Understanding toward the diverse ethnic and culture groups around the world
– Self-help among developing nations within a sound environmental framework
– Projects for international peace and protection of human rights
– Peace Corps ideals while providing local activities and fellowship for our members
SBPCA members also volunteer locally to support Peace Corps’ third goal… bringing the world back home!
…AND we get together for monthly social events!
