Continued Service with AmeriCorps
Through our Fellows program, students combine their classroom and field work experience with AmeriCorps service. In addition to earning a graduate degree, Fellows make a difference closer to home, earn a Segal Education award, and join a national network of AmeriCorps Alumni.
In partnership with the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, our Fellows help lead community projects including downtown revitalization, business retention and expansion, youth leadership, tourism development, health education, volunteer management, and disaster preparedness. Fellows build local capacity, mobilize people, and make sustainable progress in rural communities all across Illinois.
