- Select your state and go to the “Congressional Delegation” link to access contact details for your Senators and Representative.
- You will also find the number of Peace Corps Volunteers who served from your state!
- If you don’t know who your House Rep is, click here and use the “Find Your Representative” tool.
- Make The Call:
- Identify yourself as a constituent by stating your name and city/town where you live.
- Use the talking points below to express your support for the Peace Corps.
- Multiply Your Impact:
- Recruit ten (or more) other people to make the same call.

“Please take action during the week of February 23rd through March 1st to honor/support the Peace Corps, and the ____volunteers who have served from our state.”
IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE AN EXAMPLE IN YOUR MESSAGE, ASK LAWMAKERS TO DO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING (CHOOSE NO MORE THAN TWO)
- List the Peace Corps as a priority when you submit your personal appropriations request
- (For House Members only) Make a one-minute speech on the House floor during or soon after Peace Corps week
- Issue a press statement recognizing the Peace Corps and its volunteers during Peace Corps Week
- Send a letter to current volunteers from your state/district to thank them for their service
- Co-sponsor future legislation to support the Peace Corps, including legislation to honor the Peace Corps with a Congressional Gold Medal
